Ordering & delivery
You can order directly through the shop on this website. Just add what you'd like to your basket, head to checkout, and follow the steps. If you'd rather order in person, you can also find me at markets across Cornwall — check the Find Us page for upcoming dates.
Yes! I ship across the UK. Orders are carefully packed to make sure your jars arrive safely. Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout.
I aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days. Once on its way, standard delivery typically takes 2–4 working days. You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is dispatched.
Not currently — I ship to UK addresses only at the moment. If you're outside the UK and desperate for a jar, feel free to get in touch and I'll see what I can do!
I'm so sorry if that's happened — I pack everything really carefully but occasionally things go wrong in transit. Just drop me a message with a photo of the damage and I'll sort it out for you straight away, whether that's a replacement or a refund.

Products & ingredients
Fruit, sugar, and that's about it. I don't use any artificial preservatives, colours, or flavourings — just real ingredients in proper quantities. That's why the fruit flavour is so much more pronounced than supermarket alternatives. Full ingredient lists are on every label and on each product page.
Yes — all of my jams, marmalades, spreads, and preserves are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. There are no animal-derived ingredients in any of them.
My products don't contain the major allergens, but they are made in a home kitchen where other ingredients are used, so I can't guarantee they're completely free from cross-contamination. If you have a serious allergy, please get in touch before ordering so I can advise properly.
The ingredients themselves don't contain gluten, but as they're made in a home kitchen I can't certify them as gluten-free. If you have coeliac disease or a gluten sensitivity, please contact me directly and I'll do my best to help.
Wherever I can, yes. Cornwall has incredible fruit growers and I love working with local produce when it's in season. Some fruits aren't grown locally in large enough quantities, so I source those from trusted UK and European suppliers — but local is always the first choice.

Markets & where to buy
I trade at markets and food events across Cornwall throughout the year. The Find Us page has all the upcoming dates and locations — it's updated regularly so it's always worth checking before you head out.
Pretty much! The busiest time is spring through to Christmas, but I do events year-round. Follow me on Instagram or Facebook for the most up-to-date announcements.
The Jam Kitchen is currently available through this website and at markets. If you're a local retailer interested in stocking the range, I'd love to hear from you — take a look at the Wholesale page.
If you're an event organiser and would like The Jam Kitchen at your market or food event, please get in touch and select "Market / event booking" — I'd love to hear about it.

Wholesale
Yes! I work with independent retailers, farm shops, delis, and hospitality businesses. If you'd like to stock The Jam Kitchen, head to the Wholesale page or drop me a message to start a conversation.
I keep minimum orders reasonable — I'd rather work with smaller stockists who genuinely love the products than push huge quantities. Get in touch and we can work out what makes sense for your business.
Absolutely — I think it's important that you love what you're stocking. Get in touch and I'll arrange samples for you to try before you commit to anything.
Custom labelling for events, gifts, or corporate orders may be possible depending on quantity. It's worth asking — drop me a line and I'll let you know what's feasible.

Shelf life & storage
Unopened, my jams and preserves keep for 12 months from the date they were made — you'll find this on the label of each jar. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and use within 4 weeks for the best flavour.
Before opening, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — a cupboard or pantry is perfect. Once opened, pop it in the fridge. Avoid double-dipping or introducing water into the jar, as this can affect shelf life.
No — sealed jars are shelf-stable and don't need refrigerating. Only once opened does it need to go in the fridge.
You can freeze jam, though I'd recommend decanting it into a freezer-safe container first rather than freezing in the glass jar. That said, with a shelf life of over a year, you shouldn't need to!
This is completely normal and actually a sign of quality! Because I use real fruit with no artificial colours or stabilisers, natural variation between batches is inevitable — the colour, texture, and even sweetness can shift slightly depending on the season and the fruit. It's the same reason wine from the same vineyard tastes slightly different each year. Rest assured the recipe and standards are always the same.
